The Teen SRC (Summer Reading Club) is open to everyone going into 7th grade and above!  Just graduated?  No problem!  You can definitely still participate.  And it's easy.  All you have to do is read.  You have to read for school and college anyway, you might as well get some extra rewards for it!
Here's how it goes:  Pick up a game board at the library from Danielle, or download one from the internet (coming soon).  Read.  For every 30 minutes mark off one space on your game board.  When you get to a space that says "PRIZE!" you have earned a reward.  Just swing by the library and receive your reward from Danielle!
There are also some "extra activities" that you can do to earn extra rewards and spaces.  Like if you have your own library card you get an extra raffle ticket!  The rest of the "extras" are listed below.
Now what about the prizes?  There are going to be a couple of raffles that you can enter into (when you get to a prize space you have a choice of a prize or a raffle ticket): A Twilight gift bag, copies of books that have yet to be released, an i-tunes gift card, and more!

For every “Extra Activity” you complete move ahead one space on your game board!

• Write a Book Review and give it to Danielle!  (These will be posted at the library and possibly online!)
• Attend a teen program at the library
• Join the YAAC (and participate)!
• Redesign the cover of a book
• Create a YouTube video about your library or a favorite book (send me the link!)Blog about a library book or program. (send me the link!)
• Listen to an audiobook
• Suggest programs to be held at the library
• Suggest an imporvement for next year’s Summer Reading Club
• Suggest a theme for next year’s Summer Reading Club
• Other ideas?  Ask!

If we feature your work on the library’s website you get an extra raffle ticket!  If you don't want your work featured at the library or online be sure to write that clearly on your work.
