Lapsit
Lapsit has ended for the
season! A new session of lapsit will begin in September.
Keep an eye here and on the Library News for more information!
What is Lapsit?
The
Chesley Memorial Library Lapsit is a program for children ages
18
months to three years and their parents or caregivers, that helps to
introduce
young children to the world of books, reading and the library.
Pre-registration
is required and only registered children may attend. Each week
Lapsit
explores a different theme. Themes are shared through books,
songs,
fingerplays and more.
When is Lapsit?
Lapsit
is offered once a week: Wednesday at
10:00am. Upon
registration you must pick one of these sessions for your child to
attend.
How do I register?
You
may register your child by calling the library at 942-5472 and speaking
with Lynne, or by asking at the Circulation Desk. A valid library card is required
for
registration. Please check the Lapsit schedule for the beginning
date of
session. Remember to register as soon as possible, as there are a
limited
number of slots in each session.
We are offering a Lapsit on Wednesdays only at this time, but are
accepting potential sign-ups for a Thursday program. If you are
interested in signing up for Thursdays please give us a call!
