How to Get a Library Card

If you know that you do not have a library card, come to the library and fill out a Library Card Application.  Applications are available at the front desk, just ask a librarian!  Parents must accompany children wishing to sign up for a library card.  If you aren't sure if you have a library card or not, ask, we can check for you!

In order to sign up for a library card you need to know your home address, mailing address (if it is different from your home address), and phone number.  If you did have a card, but have since lost it, come to the library and we can issue you a replacement card for $5.00.

After filling out the Application, the librarian will enter all your information into our computers and issue you your library card!  You do need to keep your library card in a safe place; as if it is lost, there is a $5.00 replacement fee.  Once you have your library card you are ready to check out materials!  We cannot check out library materials without a library card present.

Patron Confidentiality

Patrons getting a library card need to be aware of New Hampshire library patron confidentiality laws.
