Collection
The Chesley Memorial
Library has a collection of over 17,000
books. Our collection has been carefully
developed to meet the diverse needs of our growing community. The
collection includes a large selection of children's materials; young
adult materials; nonfiction and
reference; fiction and bestsellers; and magazines and local newspapers
(statewide, national and international are available online). You can
also find
books on tape and CD, videos, DVDs, magazines, large print books, and
community information.
The
library is pleased to be able to provide our patrons with two
rotating collections of audio visual materials. We belong to a
local co-op, SILC that provides the library with a collection of DVDs
and books on CD that we rotate with the other libraries in the co-op
every three months. The library also subscribes to Landmark Audio
Services, a company that allows the library to lease books on CD, and
exchange current titles for new titles, on a regular basis.
