The Amazing Reading Race

 

The Amazing Reading Race will commence on September 24, 2008 at 6:00pm. Readers in grades 3-6 will race around the world, reading books and collecting treasures along the way.

 

Each month racers will complete a leg of the race, visiting a new continent. Legs will consist of a roadblock, detour, and the completion of a book, based on the leg's theme. Roadblocks and detours will vary each leg but may include a craft, cooking, or game.

 

Stop by the circulation desk to sign up for the race and receive your first clue. Participation is limited to eight racers.
